Approach

Erika Gerarts and Thurman Wise got together in Melbourne, Australia to challenge the norms of a conventional yoga studio concept. The task was to create an ever-evolving space for practitioners of all levels to foster consistency, quality and progress. The "A" signifies a slow upward climb in service of patient progress. The evolving arrangement of the wordmark depicts a crossroads – where people of all practice levels can come together at the single meeting point, the same place.

Approach

An archive of traditional Indian yoga illustrations was used to inspire the vibrant, contemporary palette to support the derived knowledge of the origins of yoga percolating into contemporary yoga practice. Same place is held around an array of locations in Melbourne, Australia.
