Indu is the brainchild of reknowned pastry-chef and food writer Saloni Kukreja. With a passion for baking and combining unlikely flavours, Indu brings nostalgia through handcrafted ice-creams and sorbets made with carefully selected ingredients reminiscent of a nostalgic Indian childhood.

Approach
Inspired by the colourful chaos of India, Indu's palette is tangential to the burst of flavours in Indian cuisine. Block printing – a common artform in the wide array of Indian handicrafts was paired with each flavour to insert a keepsake into the unboxing experience. To showcase the making behind each product, a flatlay of the ingredients are broken down to adopt a "show don't tell" ethos of information design. In high contrast to this colourful chaos, the wordmark remains simple and structured drawing it's umlaut from the "bindi" and its arabic script counterpart.
